We'd love to see you over the holiday period. To avoid disappointment, please see each of our developments for their specific opening times. Normal opening hours will resume on 3rd January.
According to figures from the NHBC (National House Building Council) over 150,000 new homes were built in the UK last year – the highest number since 2007.
With demand for new homes seemingly ever increasing, the HFB (House Builders Federation) is promoting the benefits of new build homes through New Homes Week #NHW16 - which runs from May 16-22.
For many home hunters, the dilemma often starts with the decision between old v new and ultimately which offers the best value for money - a new, or second hand property.
While older homes traditionally have larger rooms, re-decorating, installing a new bathroom or kitchen and laying new carpets are just some of the DIY jobs many of us have planned when we move into a ‘used’ home.
However, buying a new house can not only cut down the cost, but also put buyers in the driving seat when it comes to those finishing touches – as well as saving on energy and bills, and many incentives can help curb the cost of moving.
Linden Homes North sales director Steve Woomble said: “In today’s market place, with so many incentives available, the argument for buying new as opposed to old has never been greater. There are massive benefits to ease the financial burden and stresses related to moving home.
“There is huge choice when it comes to location and style of home, as well as the chance to be part of a new and growing community.”
Why opt for new over old?
