Convenience to local amenities a key selling point for Malton family seeking new home

Bethany Corbett, was looking for a new home in Malton for herself and her two children, Charlie and Annabelle, when she came across Linden’s Copperfields development.

Searching for a home that was in close proximity to both the local secondary school and marketplace, Bethany says Copperfields is the ideal place to live.

“Copperfields not only fulfilled my criteria for a new home, but also surpassed my expectations in various ways. It has proven to be an exceptional place to call home. My son enjoys the convenience of walking to school, while my daughter can go out and play with her friends on the nearby green. Additionally, the convenience of having shops, pubs, and restaurants all within walking distance is something we enjoy making the most of on the weekends.”

She added: “I’ve always lived in Malton, but living at Copperfields has brought me more benefits than my previous home as my children are now able to walk to school. Given my full-time work commitments, this has considerably simplified our daily routine and made life much more manageable for me.

“There are many great things about living in Malton. The town holds a monthly food market that has a large selection of food stalls, and a couple of times throughout the year, it hosts larger food festivals which are always very popular. When it comes to dining and socialising, there is also a lot to choose from, with an abundance of cafes, restaurants, and bars. As for shopping, there are a mix of local independent stores as well as a selection of well-known chains.

“Another benefit is that it is surrounded by beautiful, picturesque countryside, and you are only half an hour’s drive from York and 45 minutes from the coast!”

Bethany was seeking a home with ample space for every family member - she chose the Mylne house type. .

“The Mylne has four bedrooms, allowing me to create a home office, and I also enjoy its spacious kitchen. The kitchen was really important for me, because as a mum that is where I spend a lot of my time. I have room for a large table and two comfy armchairs meaning we can all be together whilst I am preparing meals or tidying up after them.”

Commenting on her experience with Linden Homes, Bethany said: “The sales team were incredibly supportive throughout the entire process. They were extremely patient with me when I found myself wavering on my kitchen selections and despite me being one of many buyers, they managed to make me feel genuinely special and shared in my excitement. They responded promptly to my enquiries and requests for additional information and kept me updated the entire way.”
