Help To Buy Event At Meldon Fields

Linden Homes is helping homebuyers by holding a special Help to Buy event at its Meldon Fields development in Okehampton on Saturday 25^th January.

Designed to assist first time buyers and existing homeowners, Help to Buy is a Government backed equity scheme that applies to any new build property up to the value of £600,000. It enables homebuyers to purchase a new home with just 5% deposit and a 20% Government equity loan – a loan that is interest free for the first five years and can be repaid at any time within the first 25 years.

Meldon Fields is a very popular development situated in Okehampton, with easy access to Exeter.

Brian Deacon, sales and marketing director for Linden Homes said: “If homebuyers are uncertain about Help to Buy, we would encourage them to come and talk it through with our sales executives to discover how we can make it work for them."

To clarify the Help to Buy process Linden Homes has created a new step-by-step animation which gives a simple overview of the scheme.
