Housebuilder Brings The Party To The Park
05 Jul 2012

Housebuilder of the Year Linden Homes, was welcomed at the Haltwhistle Carnival having made a generous donation as part of its sustainability drive.

Linden Homes, which has a development of new build housing at Centurion Park, Haltwhistle, provided sponsorship for a children’s entertainer at “The Party in the Park” held on Saturday 30th July.

Proving highly popular with Haltwhistle’s younger residents, the award winning house builder made the contribution as part of “The Linden Homes Foundation”, which has been created to ensure the wider benefits of its developments can be felt through the communities in which it works.

Mark Wilson, regeneration director in the North East said, “We hope that the children who attended “The Party in the Park” enjoyed the entertainment we provided and we have taken great pleasure in being able to make a gesture of this kind to such an important local event.

“When developing a new site, Linden Homes always makes it a priority to engage with the community, especially children, in order to ensure our developments meet the needs of local residents.

“We hope to make links with the local community in the near future which will ensure that our housing has wide reaching benefits which can be felt long after the homes we build have been sold.”

Centurion Park, located off Haltwhistle’s Main Street, launched in February and houses have sold rapidly in phase one. An announcement is expected soon about phase two.
