Joined Up Thinking Helps Torbay Royal Regatta

Leading housebuilder Linden Homes has joined forces with its parent company, Galliford Try, contractors for the South Devon Link Road, to support the local community by sponsoring Torbay’s 200th Royal Regatta.

The Torbay Royal Regatta will host a series of events including a fireworks display, regatta fair, anniversary cup race, rowing events, a water ski spectacular and a display by The Red Arrows.

Brian Deacon, sales and marketing director of Linden Homes said: “As we’re both working locally, it made sense to join forces with Galliford Try - we’re thrilled to support the local community in such a positive way. The Red Arrow display is a personal favourite of mine and it’s fantastic to see so much activity in the bay.”

Jim Watson, Galliford Try project director for the South Devon Link Road said: “Being involved in this prestigious event and marking the 200^th anniversary of the Torbay Royal Regatta provides us with the opportunity to ensure this event is enjoyed by many people, both local residents and welcoming tourists to the area.
