Kingston Mills Wins Blue Ribbon Award At Ideal Home Show

Linden Homes’ Kingston Mills development in Bradford-on-Avon has won a top award at the 2013 Ideal Home Show.

The waterside development scooped Refurbishment of the Year at the Blue Ribbon Awards. It is the third major award for the site, which last year picked up Best Regeneration in the Housebuilder awards and Best Mixed Use Development in the Sunday Times British Homes awards.

Clive Wiltshire, Managing Director of Linden Homes Western, said: “We are always delighted and proud to win an award but especially when our focus on delivering quality design through innovation and attention to detail is recognised.

“It is a well-earned reward for the whole team involved in transforming this site.”

The judges said they “very much liked the unifying vision for the whole scheme, and appreciated the approach both to site planning and design as a creative response to the site and its surroundings.”

The Island is the latest phase of the development and offers a mix of two-bedroom apartments and three- and four-bedroom townhouses.

Linden also picked up the Housebuilder of the Year title at the Blue Ribbon Awards, which were relaunched this year by the Ideal Home Show to support innovation and development in the housing industry.
