A new managing director with more than 27 years’ experience in the industry has been appointed to head up Linden Homes’ western region.
Clive Wiltshire is a Fellow Chartered Management Accountant who most recently worked as development director for Heron Land Developments. He has also held positions including regional managing director for Taylor Wimpey, and company secretary and financial controller for Redrow Homes.
He replaces Nigel Palmer who was recently selected to be managing director of Linden Homes in the south west.
Clive said: “I’m really looking forward to the challenge and opportunity of continuing Linden Homes’ remarkable success in recent years which has seen the company grow to become the fifth largest housebuilder in the UK.
“Bristol and the surrounding areas of Gloucester, Bath and South Wales remain good areas for development with lower levels of unemployment than the national average, and which are popular places to set up home. With business set to further expand along the M4 corridor and into South Wales, I believe that there will be a strong demand for our mixed range of properties across the region.”
Linden Homes is currently building and selling new homes on a range of developments across the region including its award winning restoration scheme Kingston Mills in Bradford on Avon; the environmentally-friendly re:fresh in Chippenham; Strawberry Meadows, an exclusive collection of detached homes in Cheddar; and Coed Y Brenin, featuring four and five bedroom homes in Abergavenny.
Linden Homes is part of the Galliford Try Group.
