Linden Homes Appoints New Quality Manager

Leading housebuilder Linden Homes has appointed Clive Scourfield as its new quality manager for the South West region.

Clive, who has worked for the company for nearly 25 years and has created a number of award winning developments in his role as project manager, previously worked at Linden Homes’ City Glade development in Exeter.

A trained architect technician, he started work in an architect’s office for seven years, before moving to London to become a site manager, where he moved onto Barratt Homes and then SNW.

Clive’s main responsibilities as quality manager will be to ensure the homes are all built to the same high standards and will be responsible for inspecting the homes at various stages throughout the build process.

Clive lives in Torquay and is married with two daughters. Commenting on his new role, Clive said: “Having been with the company for nearly 25 years I felt quite passionate about passing on my experience to site managers by sharing best practice, giving tips on organisation and putting a structure in place to ensure we always achieve a consistently high standard. I’m thrilled with my new role and look forward to the challenges and opportunities it will bring.”

Nigel Palmer, managing director of Linden Homes said: “Clive has a vast amount of experience and we’re delighted with the new appointment – he’s the perfect man for the job. While we will be sad to lose him on site, the knowledge he will impart to the site managers will be invaluable.”

Linden Homes is currently building homes in Exeter, Exminster, Okehampton, Westward Ho!, East Ogwell, Stoke Gabriel, Goodrington, Plymouth, Liskeard, Duporth, Grampound, Truro, Wadebridge and Camborne.
