Linden Homes Appoints West Yorkshire MD

Linden Homes has promoted Scott Stothard to managing director of the housebuilder’s West Yorkshire region.

Starting his career in housebuilding as an apprentice bricklayer 22 years ago, Scott has risen through the ranks gaining valuable experience in the industry, most recently as Construction Director for Linden Homes West Yorkshire.

Upon his appointment, Scott Stothard said: “A clear ambition of mine is to increase our presence across the whole of Yorkshire by targeting land in desirable locations for high quality developments.

“Starting my career as an apprentice has allowed me to see real value in driving great opportunities for young people who will, one day be the future of the business. For me, a strong team is the foundation of a strong business and teamwork is of upmost importance and there is so much opportunity in the industry for the talent of tomorrow. I am looking forward to spearheading Linden Homes’ management trainee programme within the region.

“I will be looking to develop our existing team to increase their strength by implementing more streamlined efficiencies and processes.”
