Linden Homes is playing the role of Father Christmas this festive season: Staff, residents and customers are being asked to very generously donate gifts for the Linden Homes’ Christmas scheme.
This year the Christmas presents are being collected for Coppermill Care Centre, which is next door to Linden Homes’ Chiltern’s head office in Harefield.
Linden Homes is inviting big-hearted donors to deliver their presents to the collection points at various developments including, Nash Mills Wharf near King’s Langley, Empire Court in Borehamwood, Millbrook Park in Mill Hill and Wilshere Park near Welwyn.
Teams of Linden Homes’ elves will then gather all the gifts together into one big hamper and deliver them all to Coppermill Care Centre. For practical and safety reasons, the delivery is likely to be made by car, rather than reindeer powered, airborne sleigh.
Linden Homes’ Chiltern’s director of sales and marketing is Simon Pendlebury:
“Gathering up the presents and delivering them to local organisations, such as care homes and hospitals has become part of our Linden Homes’ Christmas. It’s so heartening to watch the donated gifts coming in and even more heartening to see how much pleasure these generous gifts give.”
Johan, Manager and Sandi, Administrator from Coppermill says the gifts will really help to brighten up Christmas for the residents:
