Vistry Partnerships, part of the Vistry Group, has joined forces with Sanctuary to provide 154 new homes in Longrock, Cornwall.
Plans to build the new homes has moved a step forward as detailed planning permission has now been granted. The new development will provide much needed affordable homes for local people, with the partnership between Vistry and Sanctuary enabling the delivery of a higher percentage of affordable homes for the area.
Vistry Partnerships will build the 154 homes as a mixed tenure scheme, delivering 46 affordable homes available for both social rent and shared ownership.
The remaining 108 homes will be sold on the open market under the Linden Homes and the Sanctuary brands. The new development, named Morva Reach will offer a collection of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes and will be available to purchase using the a wide range of moving schemes.
Work is due to commence on site later this year, with the first homes expected to be complete and ready for occupation in Summer next year. The site which is located just off the A30 is ideally located with simple access to nearby road networks connecting you to the South West and beyond.
Peter Sadler, Managing Director Vistry Partnerships South West added; “We are passionate about creating sustainable and vibrant new communities and are delighted to have joined forces with our partners, Sanctuary to deliver much needed affordable homes to Longrock.
We are serious about tackling the South West’s housing shortage and meeting local needs for affordable housing is key for Vistry Partnerships and that’s why we are delighted to be working with Sanctuary. The increased number of affordable homes on this fantastic new development will help local people who have grown up in the area to remain local.”
Vistry Partnerships have teamed up with Sanctuary to develop these much-needed homes and increase the local housing supply. Sanctuary will manage all affordable homes on the new development and will sell homes through their shared ownership & affordable rent offering.
The new homes add to Vistry’s extensive development in the south west with over 4,500 homes currently in development across the South West.
