New Md Takes Up The Reins At Linden Homes South East In Caterham

Caterham-based Linden Homes has welcomed a new Managing Director who will head up the award-winning company’s South East region.

Darren Maddox (42) from Felbridge has taken up the reins after moving from Linden Homes’ Chiltern office which he previously oversaw with great success.

His career in the construction industry began as a 16-year-old management trainee. Since then he has gone on to climb the corporate ladder, working for a number of well-known companies in different positions.

In 1999, Darren moved from Laing Homes to Try Homes as Production Director. In 2000, Try Homes merged with Galliford Plc to form the Galliford Try Group.

In 2007, Linden Homes joined the Group and in January 2010, Darren was promoted to Managing Director of Linden Homes Chiltern. Following his appointment, unit volumes of homes built in the region doubled under his management.

Based at the regional head office in Guards Avenue, Darren is keen to grow the already successful business even further. He said: “I am delighted to be heading up the South East region and working alongside a fantastic team. It’s an exciting time, particularly as we have a number of new developments launching in London and the surrounding area.

“Our key focus is to continue building homes to help meet the demand of our ever growing population, whilst helping communities to grow and flourish at the same time and the team in Caterham are focused on performing at a high level and delivering a great experience for our customers.”
