The location is perfect - Upper Froyle is off the A31, 50 miles from London and 5 miles from J5 of the M3 motorway.

Froyle is home to two pubs; both of which are steeped in history. The Hen & Chick, located in Upper Froyle, was built in 1740 and acted as a Chaise House for traveling stagecoaches. While the Anchor Inn in Lower Froyle is run by a renowned chef and is more of a modern pub. In Bentley, the next village across, there is a shop, post office, and two other pubs. A historical and innovative development

The grounds of Froyle Park have a long and interesting history, dating back to 1620 when they were built. Originally, this was a manor house; it was then used for various things, including a military hospital in World War One.

At one point, the majority of the site was used as a special school for adults with learning disabilities. The college offered young people the chance to learn and gain independence. Due to extensive refurbishment that was needed, the school was eventually relocated. Today, the manor house is used as an exclusive setting for events, including weddings.

Since then, the site has undergone extensive developments. However, as much of the countryside around it has stayed the same. Froyle Park has been made to blend seamlessly into its natural surroundings, creating beautiful new homes with a lot to offer.
