BIODIVERSITY
Our community doesn't stop with homeowners, at Little Glen we care about the wildlife in our community. A selection of homes have hedgehog highways and bird or bat bricks included to help the local inhabitants thrive! We're also working in partnership with the Bumblebee Conservation Trust.
KEEPING YOU COSY
Unlike older properties, our homes come with high efficiency double glazing as standard, letting plenty of light and warmth in while minimising heat loss and reducing the amount of noise you’ll hear within your home. Not only do they keep you cosy they also reduce the amount of external noise that you’ll hear within your home.
Additional roof and floor insulation are among the other unseen features included with our homes that will help reduce the costs of keeping your home warm in the winter months, while also keeping you cool in the summer.
REDUCING WATER WASTE
Our kitchens and bathrooms incorporate water saving measures, without compromising on style or functionality.
These features mean our homes use up to 20% less water* than the UK average. Our taps and showers use aerated technology to provide the feeling of a strong flow, whilst using less water. Plus, our dual low flush toilets use the minimum amount of water to ensure less waste.
*Average Linden home uses 100-110 litres/person/day compared to UK average of 140 litres/person/day according to the Energy Savings Trust
SOLAR PANELS
Every home at Little Glen comes with Solar Panels.
Solar panels convert the sunlight into electrical energy. This can then be used to towards powering your home.
Dependent on the size of your home, you will have 2-4 panels included in your purchase. The panels are located in the optimum area to get the most of the daylight throughout the year.
Please speak to your sales consultant to find out the exact solar panel details of the home you're interested in.

The beauty of Little Glen, our new build development, is that it delivers the best of both worlds. There's country-style living combined with an abundance of resources and travel links via the nearby urban areas.
Glen Parva itself is a quiet parish that makes up part of the Blaby district and is home to just over 17,000 people. In the immediate area, there's listed country pub, Glen Parva Manor; a variety of green walking trails, and a number of quiet and safe recreational spaces for children.
Despite its own homely, community feel, Glen Parva is only four miles south of Leicester's bustling city centre, and therefore has excellent travel links to the city and well beyond. With Leicester's close proximity comes access to just about any resource you might need, too, from great entertainment venues to 'shop 'til you drop' retail, and just about everything in between.
Glen Parva and its immediate surroundings are perfect for walkers and explorers. There are two nature reserves in the area: Glen Parva Nature Reserve and Glen Hills Nature Reserve. Additionally, the trail between Glen Parva Woodland through to Aylestone Meadows is a two-hour meander offering bird watching and fishing opportunities.
Glen Parva has various safe recreational spaces for children to enjoy themselves, but the real fun for the kids (and perhaps the adults, too) likely starts a few miles north as you stray into Leicester. This is the biggest city in the East Midlands and there is plenty to do here, from eating out and enjoying the vibrant nightlife, to making the most of the various and fitness and leisure facilities.
You can also enjoy some retail therapy. Fosse Shopping Park, one of Leicester's biggest and best retail centres, is only a ten-minute drive away.
Being so close to Leicester means that residents at our Little Glen development can enjoy travel links into the city and beyond.
Getting into the city by car, bus or train will typically take you well under half an hour, even with city traffic to consider. Meanwhile, getting out to even bigger cities like London, Birmingham and Leeds is a doddle from Leicester train station.
